Krosno - a small Cracow

14th August 2014

It is raining cats and dogs. Last night was a terrible storm. So today we decided to visit Krosno and visiting interesting sites there.
The street of Krosno about 11 a.m.

Market Square

Lovely old houses around Market Square.

It is the old well.

Roadworks in the town centre.

Bank in the background.

Time for relax in the cloudy summer day.
It is a small town 8 km from my summer house. It is very lovely and historic place. Krosno is situated in the Carpathian Euro-region which comprises the borderlands of Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and Romania.

One of the old Roman-Catholic church.

Krosno still enchants with the beauty of its medieval churches and listed period tenement houses situated mainly in the Old Market Square area located on a hill on the altitude of ca. 277 m above sea level.

We have had a great time in Krosno so we have spent an interesting day of our summer vacation here.

THANKS FOR VISITING
